Blackpool Sandcastle and Waterlworld is an award winning South Shore tourist attraction. The warm/hot 84 degree indoor water park arena boasts a all a family needs to spend a day indoors - activities for children and adults alike.
The park, open since 1986 holds more than a quarter of a million gallons of water and is being developed with £4.5 million investment.
Sandcastle opening times: Open from 10 am, peak season closing at 6.30pm, Low-season (particularly weekends) 5.30pm and even 4.30pm off-season.
Prices: Over 16's £7 for day, Children: £6; Small Children: £5; Infants: FREE.
All prices are slightly less after 2pm.

During the Winter period - beginning November 2004 the park is Closed for major refurbishment.
Sandcastle and Waterworld is part of "Building a Better Blackpool" run by Blackpool Borough Council. New in 2004 is the CARRIBBEAN Storm Treehouse and Treetop Multi-Slide. In 2005 major new attractions are planned.

In 2005 look out for rollercoaster waterslides, tsuname water chutes, more party areas, cafes, bars and bistros, sauna and steam area.
Pool safety is provided by a fully qualified team of lifeguards. Swimming costumes, arm bands, baby boats, goggles, nose clips, swim caps and swim nappies are available from the swimwear shop.
There are baby food and bottle warming facilities. For people with a disability much thought has gone into accessibility within the complex and staff awareness is included with a passenger lift to modified changing room, accessible toilets and access to pool sides for wheelchair users.
The aim has been to make Sandcastle Waterworld as pleasurable as possible (don't expect too much sand though the emphasis is very much on water!).
For Groups and parties and events you can you can prebook. For parties over 10 you can negociate discounts of up to 30%. What you get includes: unlimited use of pools and waterslides, hats and balloons, a reserved birthday bay, photographs of the occasion, choice of meals and party bags (on request).

Larger groups and events can book the entire venue at "great prices". So for corporate events, school trips, stag and hen nights, business outings and birthday celebrations this might fit the bill.
